Christmas in Rome is a special experience.
The shops and streets are adorned, the evenings are long and the Church are preparing for the high feast of the Nativity of the Lord.
The Christmas season begins in Rome on December 8th with the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, la Immacolata Concezione, which is a holiday in Italy. On December 8, Christmas decorations are switched on in Rome.
We have prepared a program to celebrate Christmas with you as Romani (the inhabitants of Rome) are celebrating.
We recommend an early morning arrival in Rome Airport, Fiumicino. Private Vip Transfer by a Mercedes Van which will bring you to our Hotel delle Nazioni in Fontana di Trevi area.. After our check –in, we are going to the St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel where our Knowledgeable tour guide will be waiting for us with -skip the line- tickets. This will happen only for this time due to the Christmas days.
This extensive tour will give you an excellent opportunity to see, feel and touch perhaps the most astonishing structure in the entire world. The Vatican City is the world’s smallest sovereign state with one of the richest art collections in the world, acquired throughout the centuries by the Popes. The Vatican Museums are one of the biggest in the world, with more than 70.000 pieces of art., You will visit the world-renowned Sistine Chapel, completely decorated with frescos made by Michelangelo. The tour will end in one of the most famous squares in the world, St. Peter’s Square.
After the end of our visit we are going to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere in the most important Christmas Market in Rome, Piazza Navona.
After our Breakfast in our Hotel we are going to meet our Knowledgeable guide and enjoy a 3 hours-walking tour that will lead us to discover the most important highlights of Rome.(Fontana di Trevi - Piazza di Spagna – Pantheon - Piazza Navona). After our guided tour, me and you will discover hidden Christmas surprises. At the end of the tour we have free time for having an Aperitivo ..It’s Christmas and we are in Rome …in the famous streets surrounding Piazza di Spagna. This evening we celebrate Christmas Eve in one of the most elegant Restaurants in Rome @Casa Coppelle.
After our breakfast in our hotel, we are going to visit the 42nd International Exhibition of the “100 Cribs” in Sale Bramante, in Piazza del Popolo.
And later on, with our private van we are going to visit the village of Ariccia where we will be enjoying our Traditional Christmas Lunch. In the afternoon we come back to the Hotel, but how I said before… It’s Christmas and if we want we can enjoy a drink at the GIN Corner of the Hotel Andriano.
Our day is dedicated to the Christmas atmosphere of Florence... traveling by the train. We are traveling with “frecciarossa" in Business Class.
We are in Italy and the shopping is a must… so going from our hotel to the airport for our flight we will stop at the Castel Romano Designer Outlet. And the time to say goodbye is arrived…
